Monica Gant-Moton, Associate
Monica Gant-Moton is an associate of the law firm DeCuir, Clark & Adams, L.L.P. Ms. Moton was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana to a military family. She was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in April 2001 and admitted to all Louisiana state and federal courts. While attending Southern University Law Center, she was a teacher’s assistant for Prof. Judith Perhay’s Legal Writing class, a Title XX student with the Southern University Law Center’s Criminal Law Clinic as well as a student prosecutor with Baton Rouge City Court. She has over two decades of experience in both plaintiff and defense-oriented cases in the areas of personal injury, mass torts, business law, administrative law, and insurance law. She is also a certified mediator.
Ms. Moton’s practice areas will focus on general civil litigation, education law, housing authorities, business law, and personal injury.
