DeCuir, Clark & Adams, L.L.P. and its predecessor firm, Winston G. DeCuir & Associates, continuously provided legal services to its clients since 1980.  DCA represents various clients in both the public and private sectors.  While we are considered a small firm, having a practice group of seven lawyers, our reputation and effectiveness is considerable.  Partners, Winston G. DeCuir, Sr., Linda Law Clark, Michael R. D. Adams, and Brandon J. DeCuir are the primary providers. The partners of the firm combined experience spans several decades representing clients.

DCA represents both large and small corporations, Federal, State and local governmental agencies, as well as non-profit entities and individuals in a wide variety of civil and governmental matters.  A large part of the practice consists of representing governmental and quasi-governmental agencies, including two of the State’s university systems and their management boards, the Housing Authorities located in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Houma, New Iberia.  Traditional school district / systems located in Baton Rouge and Baker, La., and charter schools with operations statewide.

DCA provides full legal services from labor and employment, civil service matters, general tort litigation including class actions, contract disputes, and public finance transactional services  to several. DCA is listed in the Bond Buyer Municipal Marketplace Guide (The Red Book).   DCA is experienced in federal, state, and administrative proceedings at all levels.

The firm has a very diverse background including minority and female members.  The education and training of the firm members and associates include degrees from some of the country’s elite universities and law schools, such as Louisiana State University, Southern University, Southern Methodist University, Wells College, Xavier University and the University of Mississippi.  This diversity enables firm members to represent well its clients in the corporate board rooms, the federal and state halls of justice, as well as before state and local lawmakers and regulators.
