DeCuir, Clark & Adams, L.L.P. and its predecessor firm, Winston G. DeCuir & Associates, has been in existence for more than 30 years. We represent various clients in both the public and private sectors. While we are considered a small firm having a practice group of five lawyers, our reputation and effectiveness is considerable. Partners, Winston G. DeCuir, Sr., Linda Law Clark, Michael R. D. Adams, Winston G. DeCuir, Jr. and Brandon J. DeCuir are the primary providers. The members of the firm have over 60 years of legal experience in representing clients in both the public and private sectors.

We have represented both large and small corporations, Federal, State and local governmental agencies as well as non-profit entities and individuals in a wide variety of civil and governmental matters. A large part of the practice consists of representing governmental and quasi governmental agencies, including two of the State’s university systems and their Management or Governing Boards, the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority, and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). We also represent the Louisiana Department of Education, the Louisiana Attorney General’s office, and private concerns including Exxon Mobil, a New Orleans based software company a regional automotive parts retailer, and contracting and engineering companies. The firm has represented more than twenty public finance bond issues totaling more than 250 million in bond sales.

The firm has a very diverse background made up of minority and female members. The education and training of the firm members and associates include degrees from some of the country’s elite universities and law schools, such as, Amherst College, Southern Methodist University, Wells College to the Louisiana premier state schools, Southern University, Xavier University and Louisiana State University. This diversity enables firm members to represent well its clients in the corporate board rooms, the federal and state halls of justice as well as before the state and local lawmakers and regulators.

Linda Law Clark

Linda Law Clark is a partner in the law firm of DeCuir, Clark & Adams, L.L.P. She is an experienced trial lawyer as well as a certified mediator. Her principal areas of practice are general civil litigation, administrative hearings for quasi-governmental and governmental bodies, education, employment & family law and small business matters. She serves as Arbiter in Baton Rouge City Court. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts.
